Graham Wins The Charlotte Observer Co-COY

McKenzie Graham, head coach of the Lake Norman Lady Wildcats, has won The Charlotte Observer Co-Coach of the Year. Coach Graham lead the Lady Wildcats to their first ever state title with the team winning the 2025 NCHSAA 4A Girls Basketball Championship. 

Coach Graham is a Lake Norman alumni and a former player for the Lady Wildcats graduating in 2007 before attending the University of South Carolina. Since being named as head coach of the Lady Wildcats in 2017 Coach Graham has 156 career wins, seven playoff appearances, and one state championship with an overall coaching record of 156-53.

Coach Graham shares the award with Queens Grant Coach Kendria Holmes who took a winless team the previous season to the playoffs this year.
